YES ON AA

Yes on “AA” provides funding to address the community’s educational priorities, such as ensuring school safety; ensuring all schools are prepared for earthquakes, fixing or replacing leaky roofs, doors, and windows; receiving the federal Department of Defense grant to cover 80% of the costs of building a new elementary school; replacing deteriorating plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems; and expanding facilities to support programs in reading and literacy for the youngest learners.

ABOUT US

Friends of Sierra Sands is a grassroots effort of residents of those within the boundaries of Sierra Sands Unified School District rallying together to support the Measure AA school bond. A Yes vote on November 5, 2024 allows SSUSD to receive $42 million from the Measure AA school bond. We seek to bring our community together to support our schools and students, giving them an opportunity to be the best they can be.
